I had to research what the Fibonacci Numbers and the Golden Section for this requirement.

Fibonacci Numbers: is the series of numbers: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, ... The next number is found by adding up the two numbers before it. The 2 is found by adding the two numbers before it (1+1)


Golden Section: is a special number found by dividing a line into two parts so that the longer part divided by the smaller part is also equal to the whole length divided by the longer part. It is often symbolized using phi, after the 21st letter of the Greek alphabet.

For number 22, it wanted me to look up what schools requires for their art portfolio. I looked up University of North Carolina School of the Arts and School of the Art Institute of Chicago for their art portfolios requirements.


What University of North Carolina School of the Arts requires for art portfolios:

  • Applicants must present at least 20 examples of work.
  • Examples of work should include drawing and may also include: graphic design, painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, or any medium of choice including sketchbooks.
  • Do not bring DVDs, videos, PowerPoint or other digital media that needs to be viewed on a computer or other electronic device.
  • All digital media must be represented by high quality, black and-white or color prints (8” x 10” or larger).
  • Works may be submitted in a single or in multiple mediums of interest.
  • In addition to bringing actual artwork, applicants may supplement their portfolios with slides or other high resolution photographic documentation of large sculptural pieces, murals, temporary projects not easily transported, and/or pieces no longer in the applicant’s possession.

Disadvantages: Looks like it's only campus, no online, and is a little expensive.

Minimum Impact
Definition: Minimum-impact camping means using outdoor living skills that have little affect on the soil, water, plants, and animals in an area. This practice is sometimes called “no trace” or “low impact.” The ACA Outdoor Living Skills program uses the term “minimum impact” because it is more realistic; it is impossible for camps not to show wear after a summer of activities. Therefore, ACA promotes responsible use of the outdoors. By practicing minimum-impact skills in camp and out of camp, you can limit your impact.

For #20 I needed to define some terms.


Savings account-
a bank account on which interest is paid, traditionally one for which a bankbook is used to record deposits, withdrawals, and interest payments.

Checking account-
a bank deposit against which checks can be drawn by the depositor.

Certificate of deposit-
A certificate of deposit is a record of money invested in a bank that, in return, pays interest.

Stock-
a supply of goods kept on hand for sale to customers by a merchant, distributor, manufacturer, etc.; inventory.

Shares in a mutual fund-
An investor who shares a mutual fund with other investors.

Charge card-
an identification card used to make purchases on a charge account

Credit card-
a card that identifies a person as entitled to have food, merchandise, services, etc., billed on a charge account.

Debit card-
a plastic card that resembles a credit card but functions like a check and through which payments for purchases or services are made electronically to the bank accounts of participating retailing establishments directly from those of card holders.

ATM-
automated teller machine

U.S. savings bond-
U.S. savings bonds are simple financial savings instruments that can be purchased at a bank, which earn interest over a designated amount of time.

Traditional IRA-
is an individual retirement arrangement (IRA), established in the United States by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974

Roth IRA-
an individual retirement account in which investments are made with taxable dollars, but earnings are tax-free and withdrawals are tax-free after age 59 1/2.

For this requirement I had to give a definition of giving and tithing. I also had to tell why it was important to share with others.


The importance of giving: Is to give with a grateful heart to those who have less than what you have.
Tithing
Definition: a giving or an exacting of tithes.

Why is it important to share our possessions with others?
1. To let them enjoyed it as you do.
2. They are less fortune then you.
3. The item wouldn’t last forever.

How can our giving help complete God’s work through our churches, place of worship or other charities?
1. Our giving can help missionary in their field of work.
2. Can help to provide meals, clothes, and housing for different charities.
3. Provides stability for those who are struggling a little.

 This requirement is part of #19 for Pi/Pa girls. 

I created a poster with these verses

Why is it dangerous to find your value in material things?
  1. It could potentially hurt or harm you and your love ones.
  2. The material can be replace but God's love is always there.
  3. The value of the item goes down overtime.
